The Movie-STAR database is used to illustrate the customizable web interface of STAR, Cuadra's acclaimed knowledge management system.
Movie-STAR contains a history of the Academy Awards® given by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences from 1927 to the present. It covers 7,895 Oscar nominations and 1,610 Oscar awards in major categories for 3,268 motion pictures and 5,278 individuals.
Movie-STAR includes the 2011 Oscar winners announced on February 26, 2012.
