The Movie-STAR database is used to illustrate the customizable web interface of STAR, Cuadra's acclaimed information management and retrieval system.
Movie-STAR contains a history of the Academy Awards® given by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences from 1927 to the present. It covers 7,398 Oscar nominations and 1,484 Oscar awards in major categories for 3,020 motion pictures and 4,823 individuals.
Movie-STAR includes the 2007 Oscar Nominations announced January 22, 2008. The Oscar Awards will be added to Movie-STAR as they are announced on February 24, 2008.
