The Movie-STAR database is used to illustrate the customizable web interface of STAR, Cuadra's acclaimed knowledge management system.
Movie-STAR contains a history of the Academy Awards® given by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences from 1927 to the present. As of 2013 it covers 8,017 Oscar nominations and 1,635 Oscar awards in major categories for 3,321 motion pictures and 5,366 individuals.
Movie-STAR includes the 2012 Oscar nominees announced on February 10, 2013 and the 2012 Oscar Award winners announced on February 24, 2013.
